Poon Hill Trek (3200m.) , Trek
grading: Easy trek
Poon Hill is located just 400m. above
Ghorepani and offer a brilliant 360
degree view of the Himalayan massifs
including Dhulagiri range and Annapurna
range. The most incredible things is,
from this hill you are able to see more
than 30 different white mountain peaks,
including two eight thousand mountain (Dhaulagiri;
8163m. Annapurna I; 8091m.). On clear
days, even the Pokhara valley can be
seen. Short, easily accessible and a
fairly accessible and a fairly easy
trek, the Ghorepani trail is a perfect
starter for someone who isn't sure of
his walking capabilities, or only has a
few days available and wishes to
discover a lot.

Accessibility
Fly or drive to Pokhara, by land 7 hr.
drive and by air 30 minute, morning
transfer to trailhead and starts trek,
after the trek again drive back to
pokhara from take out point.
The Route
Max. Altitude 3200m. Poon Hill/ teahouse
lodges 2700 m., 5-6 hr. average walks
per day, easy trail, and temperate
climate jungle walk.

Teahouse lodges managed by ACAP and well
trained local villagers. Best cultural
teahouse accommodation, safe drinking
water facility.

Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathamndu and
transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Early morning fly to Pokhara and
drive to trailhead Nayapul (1070m) trek
to Tikhedhunga (1540m) (Approx. 4 hr).
Overnight at teahouse Lodge
Day 03: Tikhedhunga (1540m) trek to
Ghorepani (2800m) (approx. 4 to 5 hr)
overnight at teahouse Lodge
Day 04: Early morning Poon Hill tour for
one of the best views of Mt: Annapurna,
Dhaulagiri and including Virgin peak Mt:
Fish tail. After breakfast start trek
from Ghorepani to Tadapani (approx. 4
hr) overnight at teahouse Lodge
Day 05: Tadapani (2600m) trek to
Ghandruk (1970m) (approx. 4 hr.)

Day 06: Ghandrk trek to Deurali (2100m)
(Approx. 4 hr.). Overnight at teahouse
Lodge.
Day 07: Deurali trek to Dhampus (1650m)
approx. 3 to 4 hr. and overnight at
teahouse lodge.
Day 08: Dhampus trek back to Phedi & 30
minute drive to Pokhara and overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 09: After breakfast fly or drive to
Kathamndu.
Day 10: Full day sightseeing in
Kathmandu.
Day 11: International departure.
